Trying to Keep all the Plates Spinning?
When life feels like a constant juggle — work, family, expectations (yours or everyone else’s) — it’s easy to burn out or lose sight of yourself along the way.
I support people navigating life stress, career pressure, and the quiet (or not-so-quiet) overwhelm that builds when you’re doing too much for too long. |
It’s More Than Just “Work Stress"
Sure, it might start with your job — but often, it’s about more than that. The pressure to perform. The guilt when you're not “productive.” The weight of keeping it together for everyone else.
You might be:
Career burnout and life overwhelm don’t always come with a dramatic breaking point. Sometimes it’s just a slow, steady unravel — until something gives. |
Counselling That Helps You Rebalance
You don’t need to quit your job or uproot your life to feel better (unless you want to). But it can help to pause, reflect, and get support to make things more sustainable — on your terms.
I provide counselling for career stress and general life stress counselling in Phillip Island, with online counselling available if that suits your lifestyle better. Together, we’ll look at what’s contributing to your stress, what your nervous system needs, and what meaningful change might look like for you. Start With a Free 15-Minute ChatIt’s easy to put yourself last when everything feels urgent. But you don’t have to stay stuck in survival mode.
Book a free 15-minute chat and we’ll take it from there. No obligation — just a chance to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. |
Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of work or career stress do you support?
Anything from workplace conflict, burnout, job loss, career change, or a sense of being stuck or unfulfilled. We can explore the impact and what steps feel possible for you.
I’m not happy in my work — but I can’t afford to leave. Can therapy still help?
Yes. Counselling can help you understand what’s not working, find ways to protect your wellbeing, and consider small and meaningful changes.
I feel like my identity is tied to my career — is that normal?
Very. For many people, career and self-worth are deeply linked. Therapy can help untangle these ideas and build a healthier foundation for fulfillment.
Do you only offer support for career stress, or other life pressures too?
I work with the whole person — career concerns often intersect with relationships, family, identity, or life direction. We can explore whatever feels most pressing.
Can we do this outside of work hours?
Yes — I offer flexible appointments, including some after-hours and online options to suit different schedules.

ISLAND COUNSELLING, PHILLIP ISLAND
A Bit More About Priscilla
I grew up in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne and have always embraced change as a natural part of life. After completing university, I built a successful corporate career, started my own pet food business, then returned to the corporate world before deciding to follow a new path. I completed my Master of Counselling and haven’t looked back. Having navigated many transitions myself, I understand the challenges and opportunities that come with change.
With my husband moving into semi-retirement, we made our long-awaited move to Millowl, Phillip Island, where I’m enjoying a more balanced way of living and a stronger connection to the local community. I have two beautiful Old English Sheepdogs who keep me active, and I love getting outdoors with them to explore the island. Staying fit is important to me, and so is balancing time between family, friends, and solitude. I ride a motorcycle and have a passion for MotoGP, love cooking, and enjoy good conversation. Life is full of transitions, some planned, some unexpected, and I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to my counselling approach, offering a space where you can navigate your own path with confidence, clarity and understanding. |
